Privacy policy
WooWeb LLC operates DTReady and the website dtready.com. Contact: help@dtready.com.
This policy describes the personal data we process when you use the DTReady desktop app, your online account, and the website. It is not a substitute for legal advice.
Summary (key points)
- DTReady is local-first. Your files are processed on your computer.
- Cloud AI is optional. Only the image you choose is sent, and only for that operation.
- We do not train models using your artwork.
- We do not keep your design file when using cloud AI (it is processed and the result is returned).
- To delete your account or exercise rights, email help@dtready.com.
How local use works
Your artwork does not leave your computer in normal use. Opening, cleaning, scaling, generating white underbase, exporting, and nesting run locally. Those files do not go through our servers.
The only exception is cloud AI, and only if you choose it and spend credits: the image is sent to our processing infrastructure, the result is returned to your desktop, and the design file is not kept after the operation completes. We do not use your artwork to train models.
The WooCommerce integration reads orders and designs directly from your store into the app; that data does not pass through WooWeb servers.
What we collect
Account and license: email address, account data needed for the portal, license key, plan status, and activation metadata.
Payment: processed by Stripe. We do not store card numbers or full payment details on our systems.
Software activation: a device identifier (HWID, derived from machine identifiers and hashed), device name, operating system, and app version, to validate the license, enforce seats, and provide support.
Free trial: email, verification code, and the HWID of the device where the trial starts.
Website: portal session cookies and aggregated usage data via Google Analytics.
Support: what you write to help@dtready.com, including files you voluntarily send to diagnose an issue.
Cloud AI (opt-in): the image you submit, the operation type, associated license/credits, and minimal technical logs (success, error, credit use).
What we do not collect in local use
We do not systematically receive or store your working files, masks, exports, or WooCommerce store content when you use local features only.
How we use data
To deliver and validate licenses, manage activations and device releases, bill and invoice, run the portal, send transactional email (activation, verification, notices), provide support, improve service security, meet legal obligations, and—on the website—understand aggregated page use.
We do not sell personal data.
Who we share with
Only providers needed to operate:
- Stripe — payments and subscriptions
- Amazon Web Services (AWS) — transactional email
- Google — website analytics
- Cloud infrastructure providers — hosting/network required to operate the portal and processing
- Our servers — portal, license API, and account (infrastructure we host)
When you use cloud AI features, the image may be processed on cloud infrastructure and by image-processing providers under contract. This processing exists only to complete the operation you requested (process and return the result). We do not use your artwork to train models.
Cookies
We use essential session cookies for portal login. On the website we use Google Analytics (loaded via Google Tag Manager), which may use cookies or similar identifiers to measure visits in aggregate. You can control cookies in your browser.
Retention
- Cloud AI images: used only to process the request and not kept after the result is delivered to the desktop app.
- Operation and credit metadata: as long as needed to operate, bill, prevent fraud, and secure the service.
- Account and license: while the account is active and for a reasonable period afterward (for example, support or claims).
- Billing and legal obligations: as required by applicable law.
- Support: a reasonable time to resolve the case and keep a useful history.
Your rights and account deletion
You may request access, correction, deletion, or information about processing by writing to help@dtready.com. We respond within 30 days.
To delete your account, email the same address. We will delete your personal data or keep it in a form that no longer identifies you (for example, by removing your email) where appropriate. We may retain billing records, fraud logs, or data we are legally required to keep.
Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures (restricted access, encrypted communications where appropriate, signed license requests). We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your data and address issues promptly.
Children
DTReady is intended for users 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
International transfers
We operate from the United States. If you access from another country, your data may be processed in the U.S. and where the providers above are located.
Changes
If this policy changes in a material way, we will update the date on this page. For substantial changes, we may notify active accounts by email.
